National Education Policy

(Beyond number gambles or game or any kinda metaphor and for people who really wanna make India a better place)

Do we really need to change the overall system? The existing one is good in the form of 10+2+3+2 etc. Though lil-bit changes can be done.

What really needs to change?

No private schools. Private school shops are killing the harmony and proper growth of society. These shops are also exploiters. Government has no check on the exploitation of these shops in different forms. They exploit parents as well as teachers.
A good government must provide equal opportunities to all children irrespective of any kind of discrimination. Free school education including books, dress, good infrastructure including hostels and mess facilities will work better for a diverse society like India.
Make government schools competitive. Private school promotion means ignorance of middle and poor class. School teachers promotion and pay must be highest based on competition. It is at this level most problems of any country can be tackled. High pay means it will attract competitive people who really wanna serve society.

Schools can be divided into different categories based on their competitive level and overall facilities. Half teaching load of schools including practicals can be given to higher education people, research institutes, defense, medical including the private sector in different forms. In combination, it works great. Some form of extra incentives can be given to these people who wanna work some part of their job in schools especially in rural areas.

The teaching methodology is still too old, especially in government schools. The fact is government schools have very poor infrastructure and overall facilities.

Same applies to higher education to some extent. Though allowing private sector is good at this stage. To attract people from better educational institutions from around the world special scholarships must be there for professors and scientists for a certain period of time.

Enforcements help rarely but providing an optimum environment and motivation works in its own way. That is why most students or scholars who keep on struggling here, work better outside.

Indian file-system and red tape are such that most people do not feel like even to take projects. Wonder, why no online file tracking system and accountability of file hoarders? Mere designing different digits and focusing on unnecessary Indian historical boasting would not help Indian education system.
